The N4 Toll Route, from Tshwane in Gauteng to Maputo in Mozambique, is one of the most scenic roads in South Africa. It is known for its tranquil surroundings, lush scenery and distinctive geological and tourist attractions. In view of this, the concessionaire of the road, Trans African Concessions (TRAC), has decided to showcase the route’s splendour in its 2015 calendar, which will be compiled through the TRAC N4 2015 Calendar Photography Competition.

- Entries close 31 August 2014
- Submit entries online at www.tracn4.co.za (only digital entries permitted). Entries must be no bigger than 1MB, a minimum of 300dpi and A3 in size
- Photos can be of anything or anyone along the N4 Toll Route (in both South Africa and Mozambique) and should highlight the aspects that make this a well-travelled road. Only full colour landscape entries will be considered.
- There is no limit to the number of entries per entrant
- Basic image adjustments (brightness, contrast, saturation, hue, blur, sharpen, dodge, burn) may be applied to entries, however entries that have undergone extensive digital editing or have been edited with pre-set filters will be inadmissible
- Prizes:
• Winner: Nikon SLR camera
• Top-13 finalists: 4GB memory card courtesy of Kodak, Crossing, Mbombela
• Top-13 entries will feature in the TRAC 2015 Calendar along with the byline of each photographer
